With steady summer rains there is lots of water to enjoy in West Virginia! We’re keeping those waters clean through our work on various water policy issues this month. We’re defending against moves to increase mercury, aluminum and selenium pollution. We’re involved in the public comment process in the development of new chemical storage tank regulations. We’re meeting with our congressional reps to uphold the Clean Water Act.
Look out for next week’s policy action alert to voice your support for clean rivers and streams!
It's time to make the Birthplace of Rivers National Monument happen!
Please take a few moments and contact Senator Joe Manchin and ask him to introduce legislation in Congress that would establish West Virginia's first national monument, the Birthplace of Rivers.
If you have already contacted Senator Manchin, thank you for your action!
