WV Rivers Membership, Newsletter, and Being Thankful for Our Rivers

posted Nov 22, 2016, 1:46 PM by Kathleen Tyner
Dear Friend of WV Rivers,

Clean streams, fresh drinking water, recreation on our world-class rivers and incredible public lands – they’re among what I’m most thankful for this season.
I know our rivers are important to you, too. That’s why I am asking you to become a member of WV Rivers Coalition through a year-end, tax-deductible donation. Your membership directly supports our statewide clean water advocacy and education to protect and restore the rivers we love and the waters we drink.

If you value water, please act today by becoming a member of WV Rivers.

I'd also like to share with you our most recent newsletter, Headwaters.

Inside you'll find:

Stories of adventure:
Two friends’ trek along the Elk River from the wild headwaters to its confluence with the Kanawha in Charleston.

Stories of hope: Meet the next generation of clean water advocates, the extraordinary young adults in WV Rivers' OneWatershed program.

Stories of the challenges ahead: In-depth analysis on the water quality issues we'll be tackling in 2017, like fracking and pipeline monitoring and safe drinking water.

I hope the stories in Headwaters inspire you to join the community of river supporters. Help us amplify the voices for the health and future of our rivers and streams!

Please donate to WV Rivers today.

Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving,
Angie Rosser, Executive Director
