Safe Water Public Forum in Lewisburg, April 30

Join WV Rivers, the City of Lewisburg, and local partners for a Safe Water Public Forum at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center in Lewisburg on April 30.

The forum focuses on how citizens can help protect their drinking water. You will learn about potential contamination sources to local water supplies, discuss collaborative ways to manage those threats, understand how to provide input on source water protection plans, and connect with local groups working to improve water quality.

Attendees will receive WV Rivers’ newly developed Drinking Water Protection Citizen Toolkit, which helps citizens understand the Source Water Protection Plans. We’ll introduce the concepts with a fun game of drinking water jeopardy!  There will also be free food, live music, and door
